MOTOR VEHICLE RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


  2. 1. Applicable Terms: By completing a booking or reservation with A.E.M PRIME AUTO ENTERPRISE, the client ("Lessee") agrees to all terms set forth herein and within the executed Motor Vehicle Rental Agreement.
  3. 2. Condition of Vehicle: The Lessee acknowledges receiving the vehicle in good working condition. Any pre-existing defects or scratches must be documented on the handover inspection sheet prior to departure.
  4. 3. Authorized Use & Restrictions: The vehicle shall be operated strictly within the jurisdiction of Trinidad and Tobago and exclusively by authorized, licensed drivers named in the agreement. Prohibited uses include sub-leasing, illegal activities, racing, towing, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  5. 4. Financial Responsibility & Damages: The Lessee is fully responsible for any vehicle damage, loss of smart keys, interior burns or stains, tire/rim damage, or glass breakage occurring during the rental period, excepting normal operational wear and tear.
  6. 5. Traffic Fines & Automated Citations: The Lessee is strictly liable for all traffic citations, fixed penalty notices, parking fines, and automated camera system violations (e.g., Red-Light Camera citations) incurred during the rental period. Automated citations processed post-rental will incur the citation fee plus a TT$ 150.00 Administrative Processing Fee.
  7. 6. Security Deposit & Returns: Security deposits will be refunded within 24 to 48 hours following vehicle return, subject to inspection clearing new damage, fuel verification, and citation checks. Late returns exceeding the 30-minute grace period will incur hourly late fees or full daily rates.
  8. 7. Governing Law: All contractual relations between A.E.M PRIME AUTO ENTERPRISE and the Lessee shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
